TAR of Lazio, in sentence no 5413 April 1, 2010, annulled the July 23, 2009 No dm 108 the safety of lifts. In essence, the owners of elevator systems installed before June 30, 1999 would have to comply with technical standards UNI - EN 81/80. The measure had been strongly criticized because 'its full cost (estimated by Confedilizia in about 6 billion euro) would fall entirely on the families. Hence the action brought by the Italian Confederation of Real Estate Owners (Confedilizia) against the ministerial decree and the subsequent cancellation of the same by the Administrative Court of Lazio.
